Substitutes for Baking Powder

Use ¼ tsp baking soda + ½ tsp cream of tartar per 1 tsp baking powder

Replace AP flour with self-rising flour and omit baking powder

⚠ Changes base flour — only works in flour-based recipes

Replace liquid in recipe with club soda for light lift in pancakes/waffles

⚠ Minimal leavening; best for very light batters only
